N\u00f6ropsikoloji, beyin ve davran\u0131\u015f ili\u015fkisini kapsayan bir bilim dal\u0131d\u0131r. Klinik n\u00f6ropsikoloji ise uygulamal\u0131 bir alan olup beyin-davran\u0131\u015f ili\u015fkisini kullanarak normal ve normal olmayan beyin geli\u015fimini, beyinde olu\u015fan bozulmalar\u0131 ve bu bozulmalar\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceler ve davran\u0131\u015flar \u00fczerindeki etkisini incelemektedir. Uygulamal\u0131 bir bilim dal\u0131 olmas\u0131 nedeni ile beyin-davran\u0131\u015f ili\u015fkisini \u00e7e\u015fitli standardize \u00f6l\u00e7me ve de\u011ferlendirme ara\u00e7lar\u0131 ile g\u00f6stermektedir. Bu \u00f6l\u00e7me ve de\u011ferlendirme ara\u00e7lar\u0131 n\u00f6ropsikolojik testler olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. D\u00fcnyada ve \u00fclkemizde s\u0131kl\u0131kla kullan\u0131lan bu testler n\u00f6ropsikolojik hastal\u0131klar\u0131n (demans) ay\u0131r\u0131c\u0131 tan\u0131s\u0131, t\u0131bbi takibi, beyin ve davran\u0131\u015f ili\u015fkisini temel alan \u00e7o\u011fu ara\u015ft\u0131rmaya ve yasal s\u00fcre\u00e7lere objektif veri olu\u015fturmas\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00f6nemlidir. N\u00f6ropsikolojik test bataryas\u0131 be\u015f temel beyin b\u00f6lgesinin i\u015flevini \u00f6l\u00e7mek amac\u0131 ile bir araya getirilmi\u015f testler toplulu\u011fu olarak tan\u0131mlanabilir. Her bir beyin i\u015flevi farkl\u0131 testler ile de\u011ferlendirilmektedir. Muhakeme becerisi ve y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcc\u00fc i\u015flevler; Wisconsin Kart E\u015fleme, Saat \u00c7izimi, Atas\u00f6z\u00fc Yorumlama, Benzerlikler testleri ile de\u011ferlendirilmektedir. G\u00f6rsel-mekansal i\u015flevler; Benton Y\u00fcz Tan\u0131ma ve \u015eekil Kopyalama testleri ile de\u011ferlendirilmektedir.
