Bir\u00e7ok inceleme y\u00f6ntemi olmakla beraber genelde \u201csinir iletim \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131\u201d ve \u201ci\u011fne EMG\u201d kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Sinir iletim \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 y\u00fcze ve uzuvlara sinirlerdeki elektrik sinyallerinin h\u0131z\u0131n\u0131 ve g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc tespit etmektedir. Genelde cilt \u00fczerine yap\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lan elektrod olarak isimlendirilen metal plaklar yard\u0131m\u0131yla inceleme yap\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. \u00a0\u0130\u011fne EMG ise \u00e7ok ince bir i\u011fnenin kaslara bat\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 sonucunda kastan gelen sinyallerin incelenmektedir.
